This is a short, two minute throw together of some roughly edited scenes from 0:22:43. This was first shown at the June 3, 2009 meeting of the Independent Filmmaker’s Coalition of Kansas City and the response was very positive. We hope we get the same positive responses from our adoring masses.

We have added the pictures from our first round of location scouting.  What we found, blew us away and we decided to use the location for the movie.

To see what we found, just check and click the Stills page up there above this post.  The pictures were taken by Jerry White and myself, with Allison Pullum’s drool-inducing Canon EOS 5D Mark II.  She also used her awesome photography skills to make them look good.  Check out her work.

UPDATE (Feb. 22, 2009): There is still some work to be done on the gallery.  It uses SimpleViewer and was constructed with Lightroom.  We just need to figure out how to get a link back to the site embedded inside the viewer.  Shouldn’t be too difficult, but for now, just stick with your back button.

As a progress report, we have secured one location for sure today.  We have several pictures and one of us will get them on site in a photo gallery as soon as possible.  It’s a really creepy place, with a really friendly owner.  Just fantastic.

The script is coming along.  We just have to go through and do a little dialogue editing and should have that finished tomorrow night.  The casting call is coming and it is looking like we are expecting March 5 to be the date for all the actors to flood our call.   I will say that acting in this thing will be a time intensive and demanding thing.  We only have a limited shooting window and our actors will hopefully be able to work within our (and their) limited time frame.

Hello everyone this is Jerry. This is my first post since we have launched the site so I thought I better get on here and introduce myself, so hello.

The script is coming along nicely we have just finished a rough draft and are working on some kinks in the dialogue. It has been a long road but it is getting closer to the production part of 0:22:43. We started this thing last July as a 5 minute movie. When we finished that we decided it needed to be longer. So every time we kept adding more and more to the script and now here we are 7 months later, about to go into principal photography.

We have a few things left to do in pre-production and we plan on finishing those up this week. We are meeting twice this week to finish up the paper part of the film. We have some more locations to secure and we have our casting call to still do. We are also working on some movie posters to place up as promotional materials for the film. We hope to finish all of the work this week and hopefully have a casting call in the next two weeks.

Once again thanks for supporting 0:22:43 and keep checking back. We are working extra hard to make this the best film possible, and with awesome people behind us all the way it will only keep getting better. Stay tuned for more updates as they arise and It was nice to meet you all.
